  • Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions
  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Bylaws
  • Resolutions (things like architectural guidelines, etc.)

It is the policy of The Meadows At Shawnee Homeowners Association to comply with Federal Law and Regulations, Delaware State Law and Regulations, Sussex County Codes and City of Milford Ordinances.

All applicable provisions of the Federal Fair Housing Act and Delaware Fair Housing Law as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act is considered when reviewing applications and requests for exterior alterations and improvements to lots within The Meadows At Shawnee.

The Board will review all laws, regulations, codes and ordinances prior to making absolute decisions.  When a conflict between two documents exists, the higher precedent document must be complied with unless that specific higher document defers control to the lower precedent document.
